Announcing: Women Who Work LA

25

I have embarked on a new project that I’ve been really excited about and can’t wait to share it with you!

It was born out of the release of Ivanka Trump’s new book. And I think we all know how that went. I was so frustrated, like so many, by the blatant exclusion of women of color, women with two (or three!) jobs, and the lack of ACTUAL career advice.

So, in response, I wanted to photograph working women from all walks of life and circumstance. Whether it be working moms, working grandmothers, or women who are just starting out in their careers.

I hear so many stories about women juggling multiple jobs while supporting their family, or women who are going through a rough patch in their career, not knowing if what they’re doing is right for them. As women, we’re complex, passionate, and we have a million stories to tell. And this is the space to show the world who they are and where they’ve been.

If you know a woman who should be featured, just email me: womenwhoworkla@gmail.com
